This is why we love to sport, for days like these. It was one of the best we bowled in the tournament, our boys are doing fantastic. We had a bit of a challenge with the new venue, but this is a good cricketing venue. The pitch is a good one and you need to understand the wind factor. The rain was around so we didn’t want to go out and be rreckless. Monank and Quinton did exactly what we wanted, then we didn’t quite bat to expectatations. Fortunately we kept ourselves in the game. This game is never over, we got lucky tonight but we as a group know exactly what we need to do next time around.

Nicholas Pooran(MINY Captain) said post-match

Not good enough from the top-order, they bowled pretty well. Credit to the tailenders here. Credit to the bowlers as well, they stuck through it and kept us in the game. You could have seen how wet the ball was, it was always tough on the bowlers but they all fought hard. We had some massive losses, they are world class players but we still believed we had the depth to our squad. It’s a season of two halves almost, we got off to a flier and then lost our way. The depth in our locals though has been brilliant, it is about keeping the group together now and going again.
