Pramod Bhagat and Sukant Kadam have made India proud by clinching the gold medal in the Brazil Para-Badminton International 2023 tournament. The icing on the cake is that they have now jumped to the top spot in the International Para-Badminton Men’s Doubles Rankings, as announced by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). This duo has been playing together for eight months and has been displaying their dominance by winning gold medals in the last three tournaments. The men’s doubles SL 3- SL 4 category has been their forte, and their hard work has finally paid off. Congratulations to these para-shuttlers and we hope they will continue their winning streak in the future.
I am really happy to be World No.1 again with Sukant. We both have put in a lot of effort to be World No.1 in the doubles category. I think this is just the start. We are looking forward to achieve many more glories for India.
The hard work has really paid off and this is just the beginning. We plan to carry our great form into the upcoming tournaments. Becoming World No.1 will motivate us to work harder. There are a few more areas where we need to develop. Our focus will be on those areas in near future.
Padma Shri Awardee Pramod and Sukant have every reason to smile as they set their sights on upcoming crucial tournaments. The accomplished para-badminton players have been making waves in the Indian sports world and beyond with their exceptional skills and grit. Now, it’s time for them to level up and showcase their prowess in the Thailand Para-Badminton International 2023 and Bahrain Para-Badminton International 2023. With their hard work and dedication, coupled with the support of their families, coaches, and fans, it wouldn’t be surprising to see these two champions conquer new heights in the world of para-badminton. All eyes are on Pramod and Sukant as they get set to face off against some of the best in the sport, and we can’t wait to see them bring their A-game to the court.
