Mike Tyson advised Francis Ngannou to go all out against Fury

One of the greatest professional boxers, Mike Tyson, who is currently coaching Francis Ngannou for his debut boxing fight against the undefeated British boxer Tyson Fury, is confident that the boxing fight would end in The Predator’s favor, as Tyson Fury has never faced someone like Francis Ngannou before, who has ruthless punching power that can down anyone in the ring. Even UFC president Dana White was amazed by the power of the punches he throws. Now Francis Ngannou is no longer part of the UFC, as the former UFC heavyweight champion is going to fight in the PFL as a heavyweight division fighter.

Mike Tyson on “The Jim Rome Show,” revealing the power of Ngannou, said some words of appreciation and indirectly warned Tyson Fury to be careful in the boxing ring against Ngannou, as he just had to land one or two punches to down his opponent. He revealed that he worked on the speed and movement of Francis during training, and that would help him in the biggest heavyweight bout.

“Tyson Fury, he got dropped by a small guy, I forgot his name, [Cunningham], early in his career, and listen, this guy, punches like God knows who. He’s an athlete, he moves quicker, I worked with his speed, and listen, he only has to land one or two. Tyson’s never been in the ring with a guy that can punch this hard. I think this guy punches harder than anybody he’s ever fought.“

When asked by the “Iron” how big an upset it would be for Tyson Fury if Francis Ngannou defeated “The Gypsy King” in the heavyweight bout, he replied that it would be a much bigger upset than Mike Tyson-Buster Douglas, who was the first to defeat Mike Tyson, shattering his undefeated streak.

Predator and Gypsy King are scheduled to fight on October 28th, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
