“The problem is with Shubman Gill’s form.” Aakash Chopra’s big jibe on Gill.

India has so far performed really well against West Indies both in ODI and Test series but one batter that is being the point of discussion is Shubman Gill as the right-handed batter is out of form for months now, he failed to score big runs in World Test Championship 2023 but it was speculated that it is because of the sudden change in the format as the right handed batter was playing in the IPL just before his transition to the test cricket his splendid IPL form made him the prime player to be in the team but even after the loss of WTC final and getting enough break before the West Indies tour Shubman Gill is still struggling to regain his form and fans are still waiting to see the in-form Gill.

Apart from the Indian team management, former Indian Cricketer and now expert Aakash Chopra is also concerned about the youngster’s form as it could badly impact the batting line-up of the Indian team. With less than two months left until the World Cup, the right-handed batter needs to figure out his weak points and work on them so that he can get back to his old form when he was breaking and making records in international cricket. Aakash Chopra points out the weakness of Shubman Gill in his recent YouTube video and says:

At this point in time, the problem is with Shubman Gill’s form. During the IPL, I read in many places that he is no longer the prince but the king. But after that, there was the WTC final, he didn’t score too many runs there, played two Test matches against the West Indies, didn’t score runs there,”

hen he played three ODIs, where he scored one half-century and a score of 34. He has single-digit scores in all three T20Is. It seems like he hasn’t scored runs at all on this West Indies tour. I feel there is one thing with him for sure – when the pitches are slightly slow, he will find it difficult to get into rhythm,
