Ben Stokes Outraged Over Bag Theft at Kings Cross!

Unfortunately, the celebrations have been dampened by the news that Stokes‘ bag was stolen at King’s Cross station. This has certainly come as a shock and puts a black cloud over his otherwise positive streak of form on the cricket field. It goes to show that such misfortunes can strike anyone at any time, so it serves as a warning for others to remain extra vigilant when navigating busy public places. Despite this disappointment, all eyes are now on Stokes as Indian crowds prepare to see him play for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL tournament.

Ben Stokes was looking forward to an incredible experience at the Six Nations rugby match in London, however it all came crashing down when his bag was stolen while he was making his way back home to Cumbria. Stokes took to Twitter to vent his anger and frustration, writing: “To who ever stole my bag at King’s Cross train station. I hope my clothes are too big for you ya absolute ******”. Sadly, this is not a rare occurrence as theft off public transport is common-place; even someone with a passionate interest in sports like Stokes can fall victim. It just goes to show that everybody should remain vigilant and be careful of their possessions, especially in subway stations and other public transportation hubs.

England’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes’ hopes for a triumphant summer are looking more and more realistic as the Ashes loom closer. He has been instrumental in leading the charge for England and under new coach Brendon McCullum’s guidance, things have taken an upward turn. Going from a streak of only one win in 17 Test matches to now having 10 victories at 12 games is a drastic improvement and something to be immensely proud of. The exciting brand of cricket that England have been playing has revitalised interest in the sport and brought much deserved recognition for Stokes and his teammates. With such momentum, it is sure to make for an interesting series when Australia travel over this summer.
