Bournemouth Broke The 20 Year Old Record to get the biggest Comeback of the Premier League against Luton Town
Last night, the Premier League witnessed the best comeback in the last 20 years when Bournemouth won the match by 4-3, even when they were 3-0 down till half-time against Luton Town. It was an amazing match for both sides, but in the end, Bournemouth stood strong against the fiery Luton Town, who put past three goals against them till the half time.
Luton Town started well, and in the 9th minute of the match, Tahith Chong scored the opening goal for his team; soon after that, in the 31st minute of the match, it was Chiedozie Ogbene who scored the second goal for Luton Town. However, they did not stop themselves, and Ross Barkley scored the third goal for his team to make it 3-0 at half-time.
After half-time, Bournemouth made a few changes as Enes Unal and Marcus Tavernier came onto the pitch, which changed the flow of the match. Dominic Solanke, Bournemouth’s highest scorer, scored the goal in the 50th minute of the match to get one goal back, and then in the 62nd minute of the match, Illia Zabarnyi, the defender of the Bournemouth team, scored the goal in the match.
Antoine Semenyo won it for Bournemouth, who scored two goals to make it 4-3 to end the most amazing Premier League match that was filled with attacking play and a lot of intent by the players. However, it was not a really good performance by the Luton Town players, who had a 3-0 lead against the home side but still let them score four goals in under 45+ minutes, which is unacceptable in football. The lack of stamina was the main thing that was seen in the last 40 minutes of the match by the Luton Town players.
