Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, after winning the toss, decided to bowl first. Mohammad Amir didn’t give much time to his opposition team batters to settle and picked up the wicket of Sunil Narine in the first over of the match. Later, Nicholas Pooran and Parris fell as TKR lost its four batters under the score of 50. Skipper Kieron Pollard and Tim David hit some great shots and boosted the innings, but after scoring 25, Tim David got out, and in the next ball, Andre Russell timed the perfectly into the hands of James at covers. Justin Greaves and Hassan Khan stabilized the innings and started scoring runs for their team. Greaves held his end and scored 46 runs before getting retired hurt. Imad Wasim scored a well-fought 36 runs and registered a thrilling win in the match by 6 wickets.

“Really proud of our effort. Really proud of how we bowled. Except my drop of the last ball, we fielded really well. The way Hassan and Greaves batted, killed the game. We go to Guyana to show what we can do. The word is ‘heart, character’, it’s easy to roll over and there was talk we’d roll over and bow down to these guys, but we showed they are beatable.
