India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who sustained an injury during the India vs Bangladesh match, would likely miss out on the next two matches of his team as he is still not recovered from the injury he got while bowling against Bangladesh. Hardik Pandya missed the New Zealand match due to the same reason and will now miss the two upcoming games of his team as he needs more time to heal properly. India is on a dream run with all the wins and zero losses so far in the 2023 World Cup. India won all of their matches and is cementing its place in the semi-finals of the tournament, and there are high chances that Hardik Pandya will be back in the team for the knockouts.
Earlier, it was speculated that Hardik Pandya would play against England in Lucknow, but that won’t be possible now as he hasn’t fully recovered from the injury.
Hardik is still under medication. While the swelling on his left ankle has subsided considerably, he will start bowling only towards the weekend. Right now, important is to give him time to recover,”

India is going to play against England next on October 29th. So far, England has managed to win only one match in the four matches they have played. The forgetful run of the defending champions is slowly making their chances to play the knockouts weak. Their last match against South Africa didn’t end well, as they lost by 229 runs. India gave a chance to Surya Kumar Yadav in the playing XI against New Zealand, but the right-handed batter failed to perform there and got out after scoring just 2 runs. It would be interesting to see whether he would be included in the next match or not.
