Former CSK left-arm spinner Sai Kishore claimed himself as “one of the best spinners in India and is ready to represent India in Test cricket. The 27-year-old left-arm spinner represented Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024 and had a decent season with the ball as he led the spin department of Gujarat Titans alongside Rashid Khan. Ahead of the Duleep trophy, where he will play for Team B in the tournament, he looked extremely confident. He knew the importance of the upcoming domestic tournament, where the players will be selected for India’s forthcoming test series against Bangladesh.

Sai Kishore is undoubtedly an upcoming prospect in Indian cricket. The tall cricketer from Tamil Nadu represented India in the Asian Games 2023 and picked up four wickets in the event, playing a significant role in winning India’s first Gold medal in Cricket at the Asian Games.

In a brief interview with the Indian Express, Sai Kishore revealed how his career is going right now and expressed his excitement about representing India in the red-ball format alongside veterans like Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.

“I feel so confident because I have never trained in the block I have now. Maybe before getting into the IPL, I would have trained like this. Waking up at 4 am, training and then, bowling. I haven’t put in as many hours as I have this pre-season in the past four-five years. During the IPL, you don’t get time, you focus on recovery. After TNPL, I had a 15-20 day break, and used it to the best.”

Sai Kishore said

“I feel I am one of the best spinners in the country. Put me in a Test match, I am ready. So, I am not worried too much. Jadeja is there, I have never played alongside him. I have been with him in CSK, but never played together in red-ball format. So, it will be a good learning experience in terms of what he does. In saying that, I feel confident. So, I am ready more than ever,”
