India’s upcoming tour of West Indies full Schedule:

The BCCI has officially released the schedule of the upcoming India’s tour of the West Indies. The matches will commence on July 12th, 2023, and end on August 13th, 2023. In the West Indies tour, India will be playing 5 T20, 2 Test, and 3 ODI matches. After India’s loss in the WTC final (2021–23) against Australia, they are ready to get back again, and this time India will start its World Test Championship journey (2023–25) from the West Indies. From the first match of the West Indies tour, the race between both teams for the WTC championship will start.

The first match between both teams will be a test match (12–16 July), and the venue will be Windsor Park in Dominica. There is another test match scheduled, which will be held between July 20 and July 24 at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad. After the completion of the test series, there would be three ODI match series, which would start on July 27 in Barbados, and the final match of the series would be played on August 1 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy. The next would be a 5-match T20 series, and the final match of this series would be played at the Broward County Stadium in Florida on August 13.

The series would be crucial for the Indian team and for the West Indies, as the ICC World Cup 2023 would start in October, and the team that would manage to win the ODI series would have the confidence to play in the ICC fixtures, though the West Indies need to qualify first for the ICC World Cup 2023, and their qualifier matches are going to start on June 18th.

We are delighted to be able to confirm the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India. One of the highlights will be the 100th Test at the Queen’s Park Oval and this promises to be a fantastic occasion as we celebrate this historic event between these two proud cricketing nations,”

Johnny Grave, CEO of Cricket West Indies (CWI).
