Indian Team Lands In South Africa For Multi-format Series

The Indian team is ready to take South Africa home and got a welcome reception from the fans in South Africa.

The Indian team, after winning the T20I series against Australia, has now moved on to accomplish their next task of taking the Proteas home in an all-format series. This time, there will be three different captains who will lead the team in three formats. The T20I squad will be led by Surya Kumar Yadav, who had a great run as India’s captain in the T20I series against Australia recently. That’s why he got the chance to lead the young T20 team again. The T20I series against South Africa would kick off the all-format series on December 10, followed by an ODI series, and then the Test series.

KL Rahul would be seen captaining the ODI team, and Rohit Sharma would be back to captain the test team of India. Since the ODI World Cup 2023, the white-ball heroes of the Indian team like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested, and they won’t be seen in the limited-overs format for this series as well, but in red-ball cricket, their return to the team is good news.
