The Board of Control for Cricket in India has released the full schedule of the 17th edition of the IPL 2024, and the tournament will resume on April 8, 2024. Earlier, BCCI released the schedule for the first 21 matches till April 7, 2024, due to the Indian general elections. As per the updated list, the IPL 2024 matches will continue till May 26, with the final to be played at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. On April 8, 2024, Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the same venue where the final will be played.
Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium will host its first match of the IPL 2024 on April 20, 2024, where home team Delhi Capitals will play opposite Sunrisers Hyderabad. So far, Delhi has already played its first IPL 2024 match at Mullanpur, Punjab, and their home leg will start in the second half of the tournament. IPL 2024, in its initial matches, has provided thrill and excitement to the fans with some nail-biting finishers, and fans are expecting that in the later half of the cash-rich league.
