You have to use the conditions and I think I was able to do that reasonably well tonight. The lights are quite low and with the fireworks happening around, the visibility wasn’t great at the ground. We are trying to do our homework as well as we can, the planning and preparation that goes on behind the scenes is important. Our ability to adapt to different conditions and the variety we have in our bowling and also the batting have been the standout points. It was great for the different guys to step up with the ball tonight.
Glenn Maxwell(WAF Captain) said post-match
I think one of us had to graft it with Klaasen. Klaasen batted beautifully and sussed up the pressure. The wickets are playing a huge part, there hasn’t been any sun, batting first has been very tough. We may have gone too hard, we wanted to bat in a way to bat them out of the game but it worked against us. A score of around 140 would have been a decent score.
