Incredible, if you had told me before the start of the tournament we would take three wins from here and turn that into a fortress, would take it any day. Will take this confidence into Dallas and the rest of the season. Massive statement, Xavier showed he can swing very well, won us the game. We are never out of the game, shows the confidence in the group. He (Hassan Khan) is massive, critical to the balance of our side, has been bowling very tough overs for us, he was fantastic, he turned the game on its head with the bat. That’s the beauty of the game, we have got matchwinners and if the domestic boys play like that, it gives us a great chance. The stadium has been rocking, people wearing Orange and coming out and supporting us, extremely thankful to them. We will have to wait till next year to go again in front of them.
Corey Anderson(SFU captain) said post-match
I felt we were like in the game. 175 was par, the wicket was slower, we got ourselves into a good position but we lost wickets. The game is never over, especially in T20 cricket, we bowled really well and really poor in phases and that’s what we need to look at.
