Rachin Ravindra: The New Star Of The Cricketing World After Maiden Double Century

Rachin Ravindra has been one of the best-emerging players in world cricket as he hits a double-century against the South Africa Team.

As most cricket fans stick to the England vs India test series, here is Rachin Ravindra, who is doing wonders in the test match against South Africa by scoring a double-century.

New Zealand Cricket Team is playing a home two-match test series against South Africa, in which New Zealand has the upper hand by scoring a mammoth total of 511 in the first innings. Rachin Ravindra scored 240 alongside Kane Williamson, who scored 118 runs to get himself in the elite four of the test cricketers who have 30 centuries in his stats.

The world is looking at Shubman Gill and always talk about his successes in the early age but don’t take Ravindra away as he was the emerging player of the World Cup. However, he was not the first-choice player in the 15-man squad for the World Cup, but god wanted something else for him, which is why he was later replaced by Michael Bracewell, who got injured and then in the first match against England he scored his century in the debut match to becomes the fourth Kiwi player to score a century in his first World Cup match.

Ravindra scored 578 runs in nine matches at an average of 64.22 with a strike-rate of 108.44 with three hundred and two fifties. He exceeded everyone’s expectations in the World Cup, and because of that, he was picked by Chennai Super Kings for the next season’s IPL.

In terms of All-Round skills, he is a great batter, but he needs to improve his bowling performance because even on the Indian surface, he was not able to purchase a lot of turns from the surface or keep the line straight like his teammate Mitchell Santner.
