“It doesn’t change anything” Shadab Khan response to fake Ajit Agarkar’s “Virat will handle” comment.

Shadab Khan during a match

India and Pakistan are going to clash for the first time this year at the Asia Cup 2023 on September 2nd. Pressure on both teams is undoubtedly high, and players must be organizing their strategies against the opponent, though Pakistan has an ace bowling attack. India last time when the two teams encountered at the ICC T20 CWC 2022, India got the victory courtesy of Virat Kohli, who almost single-handedly took the match away from Pakistan’s side, and according to some X (formerly Twitter) users, that’s what made BCCI’s chief of selectors and former Indian all-rounder Ajit Agarkar say “Virat will handle” when asked about countering Pakistan’s pace attack, which was all fake news.

Dekhiye, ye depend karta hai on a day. Main ya koi aur, ya unki taraf se koi aisa bol de, to bolne se kuch nahi hota, kuch change nahi hota. Jab match hoga, match mein jo cheezein nazar ayengi, asal cheez wahi hoti hai

Shadab Khan’s response to reporter’s question

Now, Pakistan’s Shadab Khan has responded to the fake Ajit Agarkar’s comment and said that “it will only depend on what one does on the field, not what one said before or after the game”. Pakistan has recently clinched the 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan, which was happening in Sri Lanka. Pakistan won the series by whitewashing Afghanistan 3-0. Pakistan is now at the top of the ICC ODI rankings. Pakistan is going to clash with Nepal on August 30th, and then they will face India on September 2nd in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Pakistan would want to claim another world stage victory over India, while India would enter the field to overpower Pakistan again in the Asia Cup, but what the future entails can’t be determined earlier. I hope both teams play with their full potential to make the match memorable.
