Virender Sehwag’s outspoken personality isn’t hidden from anyone and the former India opener has yet again made headlines with his comments on naming the “Republic of India” as “Republic of Bharat”, former Indian cricketer took to X and wrote some lines on showing his immense support to change the name of India to Bharat and even asked Indian people to support that and call the cricket team as “Team Bharat” instead of Team India to show their love towards the nation, with his post he clearly showed his strong stance to the renaming of the nation.

From his tweets, he clearly showed that he is not at all interested in politics and wants to stay away from such things as he forever wants to be known as a cricketer and loves commentating on that. He criticized those superstars and cricketers who are now into politics but merely sparing time for those who they represent as an MP by saying that he doesn’t want to be a part-time MP.
