The FA Cup quarter-final match between Manchester United and Liverpool was a treat to watch for all football fans and especially some great moments for the Man United fans who are still having a hard time supporting their team but last night was special for them as United defeated Liverpool in extra time when Amad Diallo scored the winning goal for the Red Devils to reach the semi-finals of FA Cup.

It was a very high-intensity match in which both teams took 25+ shots and had 11 shots on target, which is quite a good number for any team. Both sidekeepers also did a great job as they saved the most shots, but the defense of both teams was not good as they all conceded 7 goals in total, which is quite high in a game like the FA Cup quarter-final.

Manchester United opened the score in the 10th minute of the match as Scott McTominay scored the first goal of the match to make it 1-0 in favor of United. Still, then Liverpool kept putting pressure on the Man United defense, and in the 44th minute of the match, Alexis Mac Allister leveled the scoring for the Liverpool side. As United’s defense seemed to be waiting for the half time, they seemed to lose focus, and then, Mohamed Salah scored the second goal for his team to make it 1-2 in the 45+2 minute.

Manchester United did not fall back, and then, in the 87th minute of the match, the substitute Antony leveled the score for the United team, but in the 105 minutes of the match, Harvey Elliott scored the third goal for Liverpool. However, Manchester United did not back down, and then Marcus Rashford leveled the score in the 112th minute of the match. Still, it was not done from the Man United side as in the 120+1 minute, Amad Diallo scored the winning goal for the Manchester United team to knock out the mighty Liverpool and end the hope for Quardpel for Jurgen Klopp’s farewell season.

Erik Ten Haq was happy with the team’s performance. Many experts did not give Man United a chance against Liverpool in the FA Cup match because Liverpool was in great form. On the other hand, Man United seemed down, but they still passed through the Liverpool side.
