The prince of the football world, Neymar Jr., made his debut in the Saudi Pro League from the bench in the match against Al-Riyad and gave the assist to help his team win the match by a 6-1 scoreline.
Al-Hilal fans did not warmly welcome Neymar Jr. as many of them booed him in his first game, but still, he did not pay attention to it and gave a nice performance in the match.
Al-Hilal signed Neymar Jr. for a staggering £78m from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer window and also made him one of the most expensive players in terms of contract, which has many benefits and add-ons.
Neymar joined a few other stars in the team, including Aleksandar Mitrovic, who came from Fulham for an amazing fee of €52.60m, which was a surprising choice for the 29 years old Serbian striker who could have stayed in the Premier League but chose money over passion like many other players, which is why Saudi club spend 2nd highest in total after Premier League club which is majorly being in the first spot because of Chelsea spending 600+ million euros in a single window transfer.
Al-Hilal showed the power of money to the Al-Riyad club as they scored six goals against them, and right from the start, they gave the opposition defenders a hard time settling down. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the first goal from the penalty spot, followed by Yasser Alshahrani to give the team a 2-0 lead in the half time. After Half-time in the 64th minute, Neymar came off the bench as the substitute, and in the 83rd minute of the match, he gave the first assist in his new club.
At the end of the match, when Neymar failed to dribble past an Al-Riyad defender and fell down, many Al-Hilal fans started to boo him, which was not new for Neymar Jr.
