The Professional Footballers Association award show result is out. Once again, Manchester City’s young player Phil Foden won the Player of the Year award after his fantastic season. Still, it was not the best season for Manchester City, which was able to win just the Premier League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
Phil Foden PFA Player of the Year (Male
As Erling Haaland was out of the team for half of the season, Phil Foden stepped up for the team and, in 27 matches, scored 27 goals and 12 assists for the team to help them win the Premier League title.
Khadijah Shaw PFA Player of the Year (Female)
The Jamaican footballer is one of the most talented women’s football players right now and is the all-time top goal-scorer in Manchester City. She scored 21 goals and gave three assists in the 2023/2024 season to win the Player of the Year award.
Cole Palmer Won PFA Young Player of the Year (Male)
The Chelsea football club last season’s savior, Cole Palmer, won the PFA Young Player of the Year in the male category as he single-handedly saved the Chelsea club in his first season and also made them finish high where they were not expecting themselves to be after a bizarre last two season.
Palmer scored 24 goals and gave 15 assists in the 46 matches for Chelsea football club in the 2023/2024 season. He also scored goals in the Community Shield final and UEFA Super Cup for Manchester City before being signed by Chelsea. He also featured in the Euros 2024 but did not get enough time on the field. He was still able to score a goal and gave the semi-final winning assist to show his amazing skills.
Grace Clinton Won PFA Player of the Year (Female)
The 21-year-old midfielder of Manchester United won the PFA Player of the Year award for his amazing loan spell with the Tottenham Hotspur in the 2023/24 season, scoring four goals and giving four assists in 20 matches. PFA Merit Award: Dean Lewington
