US Monastir 1-4 Al-Nassr: Cristiano Ronaldo broke one more record in the match against US Monastir

Cristiano Ronaldo has added another feather to his cap by scoring his 145th headed goal in his career, surpassing the legendary Gerd Muller as the player with the most headed goals in football history in a match between Al-Nassr and US Monastir, which ended on 1-4.

Al-Nassr won the match against US Monastir in the Saudi Arab Cup by 1-4, and in that match, Ronaldo broke the record for most headed goals.

Al Nassr is playing in the King Salman Club Cup competition, which is one of the prestigious club cup competitions in Saudi Arabia, just like the FA Cup in England. Ronaldo’s 839th career goal is such an amazing achievement for him, scoring in the last 22 seasons. Gerd Muller scored 144 headed goals, whereas Carlos Santillana from Spain scored 125 goals in the third. The legend Pele scored 124 headed goals. Ronaldo topped the chart after scoring the 145th headed goal.

In the match between Monastir and Al-Nassr, Talisca was the one who opened the deadlock in the 42nd minute after receiving an amazing pass from Ghareeb. In the 66th minute, Al Nassr conceded an own goal, but soon after that, in the 74th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo scored the record-breaking headed goal to give Al Nassr a lead in the game and also create a new record to his name for having the most headed goal. The third goal came in the 88th minute, which was scored by the defender of Al Nassr Abdulelah Al-Amri, and right after that, the fourth goal was scored by Abdulaziz Saud Al Elewai.

Al Nassr is the fifth club for Ronaldo in his career after joining Sporting CP in 2002 when he played a match against Manchester United which made Alex Furgeson bought him and brought him into the club in 2006, and after became one of the best young talents Real Madrid signed him in 2009 and there he played for nine years becoming the legend of the football world. In 2018 he joined Juventus, and after playing for around three seasons, he joined Manchester United, but the return to United was not quite good as his contract was terminated in January after his interview with Morgan.
