UCL Night Result: Madrid Went Past RB Leipzig And Man City Storm Past Copenhagen

The UEFA Champions League is back, and the first two fixtures were between Copenhagen vs. Manchester City and RB Leipzig vs. Real Madrid on the 14th of February, 2024.

Copenhagen vs Manchester City Post-Match Review

The UEFA Champions League title holder went to Parken Stadium to play their round of 16 away match against FC Copenhagen. Manchester City came with a strong performance, scoring three goals against the side, and Copenhagen was able to score just one.

The game stayed tight till the 90+3 minute when Phil Foden scored the third goal for the city to give them a 2-goal advantage for the next leg. It was the third defeat for FC Copenhagen against Manchester City, and it was Man City’s 11 win in a row in all competitions.

RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid Post-Match Review

The second game of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 was between the two attacking sides Leipzig and Madrid, who had an amazingly close match, but it ended in Madrid’s favor as Brahim Diaz scored the best goal of the tournament 2024 and got 1 goal advantage over the german side in their home match.

It was an amazing attacking match in which both sides had 12 shots on target but still ended in a 0-1 scoreline in favor of Madrid. Both teams had 50% of possession, and in the 48 minute, Brahim Diaz scored an amazing goal by dribbling. On 15th February, the next two UEFA Champions League matches will be played between PSG vs Reak Sociedad and Lazio vs Bayern Munich.
