The clash between India and Thailand was highly anticipated, considering both teams entered the match unbeaten in the Elite Pool. However, it was India’s superior goal-scoring record that granted them the pole position on the points table ahead of this crucial showdown.
Right from the onset, India displayed their intent to dominate the proceedings.
