Apart from the much anticipated main event, MMA fans were mesmerized seeing two former rivals sitting together in the front row to watch the live event. Two former middleweight champs, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira, were seated next to each other in the front row of the attendance, where the latter was cornering Sean Strickland.
The two had friendly conversations during the event, and in a video shared by Laststylebender, the “Poatan” was seen extending an invitation to train together in the future to his former rival.

The two faced each other four times in their careers. Before squaring off in the Octagon, Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya fought twice in kickboxing, and both times, the Brazilian got the better of Adesanya. At UFC 287, Israel finally got a win over Alex Pereira by knocking out him in the second round of the fight to put a 1-3 record in their rivalry.
