Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler at UFC 296? Dana White said this.

Conor McGregor

There has been a lot of discussions going on since Conor McGregor posted a screengrab on his twitter account mentioning him and Michael Chandler at UFC 296 which will mark “the notorious” return in the octagon after more than two years but it is still not confirm whether the Irish star would return to the UFC or not as UFC hasn’t officially announced his return or any fight against Michael Chandler. Conor McGregor after suffering a leg injury during the UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier has been out from the UFC and the USADA testing pool and according to the rules he has to go under USADA testing pool to return the UFC but there are exceptions to it as well if organization decides to.

Conor McGregor recently coached opposite Michael Chandler at UFC’s (The Ultimate Fighter) season 31 and didn’t have a good season as a coach and it was speculated that the two would fight in December but that is somewhat looks impossible though Conor McGregor time and again has said that there will be a fight between him and Chandler in December still there is no official confirmation to support his claims in fact UFC president Dana White recently responded to that by saying.

“I don’t know how that got out or whatever. It wasn’t from Fight Pass. My team was telling me it was an AI. It wasn’t real. Obviously, if that was the case, you would have heard it from us first”

Dana White said

So, Dana White finally cleared the air and revealed that there is no such fight scheduled so far and the ticket screenshot was fake; if there is any such fight, then they have already announced it. There are some big fights going to happen in the coming month, as Israel Adesanya will be seen defending his title against Sean Strickland, and then the October fight card will be amazing to watch.
