The world’s largest MMA promotion, ONE Championship, has been a platform for combat sports athletes worldwide to showcase their skills and gain recognition in the Combat Sports world. The organization is headquartered in Singapore, which is why Asian fighters have the most significant participation in the promotion. Indian MMA fighters are also representing the Tricolor at the Asian promotion, and some have even reached the top list of their weight division. Here are some of the top Indian athletes in ONE Championship.

Ritu Phogat: Coming from one of the renowned wrestling Families in India, Ritu Phogat has been one of the top names from India in the MMA stage and registered four consecutive wins in the ONE FC when she left the world of wrestling to dedicate herself to MMA. Her first professional loss came against Bi Nguyen by a razor sharp split decision from that loss she bounced back and reached so close to become first female world champion from India unfortunately her plans were ruined by Stamp Fairtex who defeated Ritu Phogat via submission after taking 3 years break she returned to ONE FC in 2025 but tough luck again for “The Indian Tigress” as she lost to her opponent at ONE 171.

Arjan Bhullar: The heavyweight fighter from India is the only fighter so far who has claimed a title in the ONE Championship. Arjan “Singh” Bhullar became the ONE MMA heavyweight champion in 2021 but lost his title to Anatoly Malykhin in 2023. His recent fight ended in disqualification due to timidity. ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityadtong criticized the fighter for getting a red card, but the Indian deserves a chance to display his skills in the cage, and Indian MMA fans are waiting for the announcement.

Gurdarshan Mangat: The featherweight fighter grew up in Canada and represents India in the ONE Championship. Since his debut in ONE FC, he has achieved four wins and one loss, rising in the athlete rankings and getting closer to a title shot. His last victory came against Yodkaikaew “Y2K” Fairtex via split decision.
