Demetrious Johnson wants to be a fight analyst next

One of the most spectacular MMA record holders, Demetrious Johnson, who is also the reigning ONE flyweight MMA champion, has recently shown his intent to comment on the ONE fighting events that are scheduled to happen in North America this year. Demetrious Johnson, in his last fight, secured a unanimous decision victory over Adriano Moraes to give a sweet ending to their trilogy. Demetrious Johnson recently on “The MMA Hour” revealed his interest in joining the commentator’s table in the ONE fight event, as he would like to do the analysis of the fight.

“I would love to do an analyst job and commentate on the fights when I see what’s going on like Dominick Cruz says. I plan on doing that for ONE Championship when they come back to the States.”

Demetrious Johnson since his trilogy fight has remained dormant, and it is most likely now that the MMA champion is looking to bid farewell to MMA, though he hasn’t made his retirement official yet. His non-involvement in MMA fights now gives off the vibe of his potential retirement, though his heart can’t get rid of the combat sports, as last year the MMA champion won the gold medal in a jiu-jitsu championship.

ONE strawweight MMA world champion, Jarred Brooks, on the other hand, wants to have a fight with the 37-year-old champion someday, and he is extremely confident that the fight will fill any US stadium.

“That’s a fight that I feel like would sell the sh*t out of any stadium in the US, Jared Brooks versus Demetrious Johnson, American versus American, exactly what ONE needs to really make that global push.”
