The former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor, again teased his return to the octagon. The Irish MMA fighter, after attending a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship press conference, while speaking with The Schmo, revealed that he has entered the UFC testing pool. This means that MMA fans can see him in the octagon at the UFC White House event, scheduled for next July. McGregor discussed his plans for the future while speaking with The Schmo and shared his thoughts on his comeback.
“I’m going home, getting the head down, gonna rest, “They’re testing me, I’m in the pool. “Man, I thought that’s what pools were for, jumping in and out,. “Back in the pool, so get ready and stay ready because damage will be done. Oval office. White House!”
McGregor said
It’s been a long time since McGregor showed up in the octagon. The trilogy fight between him and Dustin Poirier back in 2021 left him with a nasty leg injury as Conor McGregor broke his leg during Round 1 of the battle, ultimately losing the contest. Since then, he has been out of the octagon, but he coached TUF Season 31 alongside Michael Chandler, with whom he was supposed to fight at UFC 303. However, Chandler pulled out of the fight due to a pinky toe injury.
Fans are eagerly awaiting his return, and he has two fights remaining on his contract. Currently, he is aiming to feature in a great fight card at the White House backyard next year.
