UFC Fight Night, or UFC on ABC 7, will feature a Bantamweight bout between Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov as the main event on August 3, 2024. Cory Sandhagen, who is on a three-fight winning streak, and Umar Nurmagomedov, who is yet to be defeated in his professional career, will fight to up their chances to face the Bantamweight champion of the UFC. The Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley is scheduled to face the number 1 Bantamweight contender Merab Dvalishvili at UFC Noche in September. Whoever wins is likely to face the winner of the Sandhagen vs Nurmagomedov bout.
The co-main event will feature a middleweight bout between Shara Magomedov vs. Michał Oleksiejczuk. Shara “Bullet” Magomedov is an undefeated fighter and won his last fight at UFC Saudi Arabia by a Knockout. On the other hand, Michał Oleksiejczuk lost his last fight at UFC 302 against Kevin Holland via submission. It will be interesting to see a clash between these two fighters.
Tony Ferguson, who is on a 7 fight losing streak, will face Michael Chiesa in the welterweight division. It will be a spectacle for Tony fans as it could be the last fight of Tony Ferguson in the Octagon.
