Michael Chandler Started Picking Up New Opponent, Calls Out Islam Makhachev

After being out from the UFC Octagon for more than two years chasing Michael Chandler has finally started to call out opponents. Michael Chandler got his dream fight booked against Conor McGregor, which was supposed to happen at UFC 303, but two weeks before the fight, Conor McGregor broke his pinky toe while sparring, and the fight was postponed indefinitely. MMA fans felt terrible for Chandler and advised him to move on from Conor McGregor’s fight and look for other opponents. Even the UFC was ready to get him an opponent, and now it seems like Chandler has finally changed his mind and started calling out opponents on social media. Recently, Michael Chandler revealed on social media that he got an offer to fight Islam Makhachev in October, but if McGregor gets healed up by that time, he can fight him at Noche UFC at the sphere.

Michael Chandler also responded to the tweet of “finding a new opponent” by the Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, saying he had an answer for his Sambo Wrestling.

UFC hasn’t yet announced any updates on who will be Chandler’s next opponent, but after being dormant for two years, chasing a fight with McGregor, “Iron” looks desperate to return to the octagon.,. Hopefully, when he returns, he will fight Conor McGregor in the cage.
