Michael Jai White Names Khalil Rountree Jr. As His "favorite fighter on the planet" After UFC 307

Hollywood actor Michael Jai White, who is popular among the masses for his exceptional martial arts skills, has recently heaped praise on the UFC light heavyweight fighter Khalil Rountree Jr., who lost his last fight against Alex Pereira but even after the loss; he got a lot of praise from MMA fans and community for his toughness and resilience in a stand-up game against one of the most brutal fighters of the UFC and reigning light heavyweight champ Alex Pereira. Khalil’s loss was appreciated in a positive manner by the Hollywood actor praising the persona of Khalil inside and outside the Octagon. Commenting on Khalil Rountree Jr’s Instagram post, Hollywood star wrote.

Khalil Rountree Jr. stood by his words of going for a stand-up fight against the champ at UFC 307 and gave a tough fight in the initial two rounds of the bout, which made “Poatan” work on his game plan. After making the necessary adjustments, Alex Pereira launched an attack on the challenger, making Khalil back off, but even after taking a brutal beating from Alex Pereira in rounds 3 and 4, he didn’t give up and threw some counterattacks. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to put “Poatan” on his heels as the champ threw some body shots that made him kneel, leading to a TKO in round 4 of the fight.

Earlier, UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva praised Khalil Rountree Jr. and called him a winner despite the loss.
