The “real African winner” debate is finally going to settle at UFC 305 when former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya fights with the reigning middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis in the main event at RAC Arena, Perth, Australia on Sunday. The two fighters were supposed to fight at UFC 293 after Dricus du Plessis defeated Robert Whittaker at UFC 290, but DDP pulled out from the fight due to an injury, and Sean Strickland not only replaced DDP but also won the title bout against Israel Adesanya to become middleweight champion. The fight card is filled with Australian MMA fighters featuring 8 Australians in the card. In the co-main event, Steve Erceg, in a flyweight bout, will fight Kai Kara-France to exceed the ranks of the title challenger list.

UFC 305 will go live in the early morning of Sunday(18th August). The early prelims will start at 4:00 AM(IST), and the main card is expected to start at 7:30 AM IST.
