Their remarkable comeback victory in the women’s doubles category left spectators in awe on Friday.
Facing a formidable duo in Mia Horvit of the United States and Tenika Mcgiffin of Australia, Rashmikaa and Barry had to dig deep after dropping the first set 4-6. Undeterred, they fought back relentlessly, eventually winning the match in a nail-biting fashion, with a scoreline of 4-6, 7-6(2), 12-10. The thrilling encounter saw the Indian-New Zealand pair save four match points, showcasing their resilience and determination to advance.
