Former Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis, who was also nicknamed “Burewala Express” recently while giving his interview, named the vital players for Pakistan in the India vs Pakistan clash for the World Cup 2023. Waqar Younis, in his interaction with Cricket Pakistan, praised the current Pakistan’s team for their resilience and strong mindset towards India during big matches, as they are now able to defeat India even in big games. Waqar Younis admitted that earlier Pakistan used to choke during big games against India, but the current team is far more capable of putting pressure on India and beating them in the World Cup 2023.
The India vs. Pakistan match is scheduled for October 14, 2023. Earlier, it was on October 15, but due to security overload on October 15, the clash was rescheduled to October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter wherever you play, irrespective of whether in India or Pakistan, if you have your process in check and are executing your skills and plans sufficiently well, so I don’t think so we have any issue. We have match-winners, we have individuals that can win you matches single-handedly, including Babar himself, Shaheen – Fakhar can do wonders, then, of course, we have seen Imam playing great innings, so all-in-all, Pakistan has all the resources definitely, now it’s just the matter of putting things together and handling pressure,
