India beat Nepal by 10 wickets in the group stage match after their first match against Pakistan was declared a draw, Nepal was facing India for the first time in the Asia Cup and they played a game far more than expected against the cricket giant India, Rohit Sharma and Co. though managed to win the match but the sloppy fielding displayed by one of the greatest sides when it comes to saving runs and displaying athleticism in the field was shocking not just for the fans but for the captain Rohit Sharma as well who looked disgruntled seeing such abysmal fielding done by the big names like Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, and Shardul Thakur the list goes on.
India after winning the toss chose fielding and in the first four overs of the match three catches were dropped by players like Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan, and Shreyas Iyer who are insanely good at fielding and have the required flexibility and strength to grab a difficult one as well but who knows what happened to them against Nepal as they dropped catches for whom they don’t need to do much and that’s what made the Indian captain’s face turn red as you can see here in this video when rain interrupted the match just after Shardul Thakur misfielding that cost India a boundary.

Nepal was bowled out for 230 runs in 48.2 overs by India and when they started the chase rain interrupted the match again when it stopped the target was reduced to 145 runs which India needed to score in 23 overs(DLS method) and the opening duo of captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill did the work for the team both players scored their fifties and took India to the victory in 20.1 overs.
