All 10 teams and their management have arrived in India for the pre-World Cup warm matches, and yesterday New Zealand faced Pakistan in a warm-up match where the Black Caps defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets courtesy of all-rounder Rachin Ravindra’s fantastic knock of 97 runs and skipper Kane Williamson’s fifty. New Zealand chased down the target of 346 runs in just 43.4 overs, defeating Team Green by 5 wickets. Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan was the highest scorer from Pakistan’s side, as the right-handed batter scored 103 runs, accompanied by a brilliant 80-run knock by Babar Azam. Despite posting 345 runs on the scoreboard, they ended up on the losing side.
What Did Mohammad Rizwan Say Post-Innings About the Indian Crowd?
Apart from his century, during the warm-up match, Mohammad Rizwan garnered a lot of attention for his reaction after receiving a warm welcome from the Indian crowd when they arrived in India. After Pakistan’s innings in the warm-up match, Rizwan acknowledged the love they get from the Indian crowd and said that they got the same support and love from Indian fans as they get in Pakistan.
“A hundred is a hundred, proud and happy of it. Scoring a century for Pakistan is always special. The Indian crowd gave us a lot of love at the airport itself, just like how our fans love us back in Pakistan. We were welcomed in India in a great way,”

Rizwan, further revealing what is good between him and Babar Azam and why he loves batting with the skipper, said:
In T20Is I open for Pakistan, in Tests I bat at 6-7 and in ODIs I bat at number 4, I play according to the team requirements. Saud Shakeel is in great form and he played a classy knock today. Hopefully he turns out to be a great player in the ODI format as well. I and Babar try to rotate the strike, we bat similarly, our communication is good and that helps us.
