Zinedine Zidane: The Next Manchester United Manager After Fulham Loss?
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS want Zidane to be Manchester United’s next manager as they seek to replace Erik Ten Hag, who has not been consistent with their performance after spending a big chunk of money.
The British billionaire took over 27.7% of the club last week with a £1.3 billion deal and became the co-owner of Manchester United club, which is his boyhood favorite club that he has wanted to take over for a very long time. However, it is not going to be easy for him as in recent times, since Sir Alex Furgerson left the club, the team has failed to perform well in any competition.
To become co-owner of Manchester United is a great honour and comes with great responsibility.
‘This marks the completion of the transaction, but just the beginning of our journey to take Manchester United back to the top of English, European and world football, with world-class facilities for our fans.
‘Work to achieve those objectives will accelerate from today.’
I would like to welcome Sir Jim as co-owner and look forward to working closely with him and INEOS Sport to deliver a bright future for Manchester United.’ Joel Glazer said.
Manchester United is fighting to get into the top four as they are in the 6th position with 44 points and are now looking hard for them to climb the upper spot in the league. The other concern for them is Brighton, West Ham, and Wolves are climbing the table, and if Man United loses two or three matches, then the bottom team will push up.
Man United had a great last four matches in which they won all four due to amazing form by Rasmus Hojlund and Gernacho. The other forwards need to up their performance because if they do not, then it will be hard for them to win the game by just defending.
Will Zidane Agree to the Manchester United Job?
It will be a tough job for Manchester United to have an agreement with Zidane because he once refused to take charge due to his English. As he is not very good at speaking English, that will create problems for him because he believes in talking to players
