The “Borz” asserted his dominance on the former middleweight champ Robert Whittaker as soon as the bell rang and pounced on him like a hungry lion and didn’t let him go away from his grip till he broke his jaw which made Robert Whittaker tap in the very first round of the fight, with his impressive victory over former champion, Khamzat Chimaev has made a significant impact in the contender’s list for the title shot.
Though Sean Strickland is in line to get a shot at the middleweight title, it is still not clear who will get the shot next. The reigning middleweight champ, Dricus du Plessis, has his version of expressing who he wants to fight next. The champ is eager to take Khamzat Chimaev’s ‘0’. Reacting to Khamzat Chimaev’s recent victory, “Stillknocks” congratulated and warned the Borz, as he is ready to give him his first professional defeat.

For Khamzat Chimaev, it doesn’t matter who UFC gives him next, Strickland or Dricus du Plessis. He only knows how to “Smash” anyone who comes between him and the middleweight title, and that’s what he said during the UFC 308 post-fight press conference.
‘It doesn’t matter Sean [Strickland] or Dricus, just going for the gold. So we’ll see what happens next. I’m ready…How I did with this guy, Rob, and how he done? Rob took him [du Plessis] down, so if Rob took him down, there is salam alaikum (against me).”
