Though there is no official announcement on when this super fight will happen, the two are going back and forth for a long time. In fact, fans want to see this fight and are eagerly waiting for it. Jon Jones is known for his high fight IQ and nasty techniques. On the other hand, Tom Aspinall is a knockout artist known for his early finishes, and the Brit is confident that his short wins over his opponents will give him an advantage over Jon Jones, who relies on studying his opponents based on their previous fights.
The average time of Tom Aspinall’s fights is 2 minutes, and it will be hard for Jones to make a strategy against Aspinall. Speaking on “The Ariel Helwani Show”, Aspinall said this.
I’m saying this as a fan of Jon Jones, one of Jon Jones’ biggest advantages that he has over everybody and he says this on multiple interviews for multiple years is that he’s a tape studier, as am I a massive tape studier…he loves to study opponents like this, he has no chance of doing that with me because my average fight time is the shortest in UFC history at 2 minutes, two seconds over 10 fights, and that’s something that keeps him up at night that will keep him up at night for sure I am a massive, massive question mark for him.”

That being said, the Brit is ready to give the fans the fight they wanted to see and confident that he will outclass Jon Jones in the unification bout.
”Over a lot of years, I’ve got next to nothing, next to no footage of me is out there of me doing anything apart from bouncing people’s heads off the canvas and he has no idea what to prepare for.”
