In a lighthearted TikTok video posted on September 13, the 25-year-old playfully lip-syncs to Taylor Swift’s 2020 ballad “The 1,” a song about lost love. In the video, he’s consoled by his teammates as he acknowledges that he has “no chance” with the pop superstar due to her rumored relationship with Kelce.
The humorous clip quickly went viral on TikTok, amassing over 4.7 million views, and garnered numerous comments and reactions on Instagram. In the caption of the TikTok video, Olson wrote, “It’s officially time to move on,” adding the hashtag #MrAmericanaAndTheHeartbreakPrincess.
While neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce has publicly addressed the dating rumors, Kelce admitted to making an effort to connect with Swift during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City in July. Kelce shared on his New Heights podcast that he was disappointed that Swift doesn’t interact with fans before or after her shows, as she needs to conserve her voice for her performances.
