IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad’s cricketer Abhishek Sharma is in the news prior to the IPL 2024 for some controversial reasons, as the young IPL cricketer has been summoned by the Surat Police in an alleged connection with the Surat-based model Tanya Singh suicide case in the Vesu area of Surat on Monday. According to reports and rumors, Surat Police suspect a love affair between the couples that has led to the suicide of the 28-year-old model. Tanya Singh has been studying and working in the field of fashion design and modeling for the past 18 months. Tanya Singh had more than 10,000 followers on Instagram and was living at Happy Elegance in the Vesu area.
In the initial investigation, the name Abhishek Sharma came up because the two were on speaking terms earlier, but for a long time they haven’t spoken to each other. According to Gujarat Tak, Tanya Singh hanged herself after coming late at night.

Abhishek Sharma has been retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for the IPL 2024, but before playing the IPL, he has to deal with this issue first. The all-rounder has scored 893 runs in the IPL so far in the 47 matches he played, scoring 4 half-centuries and taking 9 wickets in the IPL. He was part of the Punjab team in the ongoing Ranji Trophy matches. The all-rounder played 4 matches in the current season, scoring 199 runs; unfortunately, his team couldn’t qualify for the quarterfinals. As of now, he has plenty of time to prepare, though he needs to get out clean from the current scenario to be ready for the IPL 2024.
