“You are not MS Dhoni” Akash Chopra’s comment on Ishan Kishan, Kishan hits back with a hilarious reply.

Flamboyant left-handed batter Ishan Kishan is slowly strengthening his position as an opener for the team as the left-handed batter scored three consecutive fifties in the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. In all the matches, he played the innings that were expected from him and provided the required start to the team. With his exceptional performance, he joined the ranks of veterans like MS Dhoni and Mohammed Azharuddin after hitting three fifties in three matches in an ODI series. He was also named Player of the Series after India clinched the ODI series 2-1. Ishan Kishan was doing wicketkeeping during the third and final ODI of the series, where he gave a hilarious reply to the commentator Akash Chopra.
India reviewed a stumping decision during the match, and cricketer turned expert Akash Chopra, after seeing the replay of the stumping where it was clear that the batter was in his crease, said that even if the wicketkeeper is from Ranchi, Jharkhand, he is not MS Dhoni, who is famous for his lightning speed behind the wickets, and Ishan Kishan also hails from the birthplace of MS Dhoni. That’s why commentator Akash Chopra used MS Dhoni‘s name in his statement, but Ishan Kishan was real quick on that, and his savage reply left everyone in the commentary box laughing.
It’s very rare that you review the stumping and run out dismissal. So far, I am seeing the feet on the ground. You can come from Ranchi, but your name is not MS Dhoni,”
Akash Chopra on Air
Ha, fir thik hai. (Then it’s okay)”
Ishan replied on Air
After his reply Akash Chopra laughed and said “How sweet Ishan, we love you” to which Ishan again repeated the same words “Ha, fir thik hai. (Then it’s okay)”.
India will be seen in action next in a five match T20I series against West Indies.
