Indian cricket teams are finally going to debut in the Asian Games in the latest edition of the event (Asian Games 2023) that is going to happen in Hangzhou, China. India cricket team both men and women are going to play, and that would be really exciting to watch as all other teams who participated earlier as well are going to get fierce competition this time as Indian team are going to play. Though the squad chosen for the event by Indian men’s team selectors doesn’t include big names like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma because they will be here in India for the upcoming ICC CWC 2023, the men’s team that will represent India in the Asian Games includes youngsters, which would be led by Ruturaj Gaikwad.
The men’s squad announced has 17 players in it, including some exciting names who shined during the IPL 2023 season: Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma are two of those names. Both left-handed batters impressed every cricket fan with their batting skills in the IPL, and that’s the reason behind their selection in the Asia Games 2023. The men’s cricket team matches would start on September 27 and conclude on October 7.
