The left-hand batter scored the fastest-ever fifty in the T20 World Cup in the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007. India was playing against England, and India was eyeing a huge score with 171 runs on the board at the end of 18 overs, but it was the 19th over of the game that brought the moment that no one had ever seen before in the T20 format. Yuvraj Singh hit six sixes in six balls in the 19th over delivered by Stuart Broad to score the fastest fifty in T20 World Cup history. It took Yuvraj Singh just 12 balls to score his fifty.

Another left-handed batter, Stephanus Johannes Myburgh, is second in this list of fastest fifty in T20 World Cup. The batter from the Netherlands was an all-rounder, and it was in the 2014 T20 World Cup when he came to bat with an intent to make his team chase the challenging total of 190 runs. He slammed a half-century in just 17 balls, giving his team the start they needed to chase down the total. The Netherlands chased the target in 14 overs.

Australian batting all-rounder Marcus Stoinis is number three on this list. In the T20 World Cup 2022, he scored his fifty in 17 balls against Sri Lanka and became the fastest Australian to hit a fifty in the T20 World Cup.
