ICC T20 Women’s World Cup Winners List(2009-2024)
After the inaugural edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup back in 2007, the event was replicated in Women’s Cricket as well, with England hosting the first-ever Women’s T20 World Cup. Since then, the tournament has given women cricketers an opportunity to make their name in the game. Here is the complete list of the Women’s T20 World Cup winners until 2024.

2009: England
The inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup saw host England lift its first-ever trophy in 2009. England defeated New Zealand in the final at Lords to win the title.
2010, 2012, 2014: Australia
Australia’s Women’s team won their maiden ICC T20 World Cup title in 2010, and after that, they defended the title of World Champions twice by winning the T20 Women’s World Cup in 2012 and 2014.
2016: West Indies
West Indies women’s cricket team becomes the World Champion after defeating champions Australia in the T20 World Cup 2016 finals. This was the first time in the T20 World Cup history that the Australia Women’s team was beaten in the finals as they won the previous three World Cups and were to get their fourth, but the spirited West Indies women’s team didn’t let that happen as skipper Stafanie Taylor and Hayley Mathews partnered in the final to take their team to their maiden title.
2018, 2020, 2023: Australia
After hitting a hat-trick of winning the T20 World Cup in 2010, 2012, and 2014, Australia’s Women’s Cricket team repeated the same in 2018, 2020, and 2022. In three finals of the T20 World Cup from 2018-2022, they defeated England, India, and South Africa, respectively, to become the champions. As of 2024, Australia’s women’s team won the title 6 times(Most by any team).
2024: New Zealand
The New Zealand Women’s cricket team created history by lifting the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy for the first time after defeating South Africa in the final. New Zealand entered the tournament as an underdog owing to their poor performances in the T20 series before the major event, but they proved to everyone that their team spirit was great enough to beat any side and started their T20 Women’s World Cup 2024 with a big win over India and in the final defeated South Africa by 32 runs. New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr was named player of the tournament after her impressive performance as an all-rounder.
