The host United States of America will fight in the T20 World Cup 2024, and this will be the first time the USA will feature in the ICC T20 World Cup. Indian-origin cricketer Monank Patel is going to lead the USA team in the tournament. Aaron Jones will be his deputy, and the team is assembled, where cricketers from different countries find their way into the national team of the USA. But, they have proved themselves ahead of the T20 tournament by defeating Bangladesh in a T20I series by 2-1. Monank Patel, who once represented Gujarat in domestic cricket, will captain the USA team.
The USA will start their T20 World Cup 2024 journey against Canada on 2nd June 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium. Then, their next three league-stage matches will be against Pakistan, India, and Ireland.
