India vs Pakistan World Cup match rescheduled to October 14. PCB and BCCI both agreed on the advanced date.

As said by the BCCI’s secretary Jay Shah a week ago, some changes in the World Cup 2023 schedule would be done soon due to the concerns raised by some ICC members, and even the BCCI received requests from the security forces that they should change the date of the big match between India and Pakistan to some other date due to security issues as the clash between the arch rivals was earlier scheduled on October 15th, and on the same day the festival of Navratri will get started, which is celebrated with immense joy in Gujarat, the India vs Pakistan match will be played at Gujarat’s Narendra Modi Stadium so far there is no change in the venue; only the date has been advanced to ease the burden on security personnel.

There are some changes in the matches of Sri Lanka as Pak vs SL match is now rescheduled to October 10th, which was earlier October 12th. Sri Lanka would be seen in action against Pakistan on October 10th, and Pakistan would get ample rest before the big clash with India. There would be changes in the dates of some other teams without a change in the venue, and an updated schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023 would soon be released by the ICC.

India is currently playing in the West Indies, and soon the team will be seen in action in the Asia Cup 2023, which will be played in ODI format to help all the qualified Asian teams strategize their playing XI before the World Cup 2023. This time India would have home advantage as the entire World Cup 2023 would be played in India, but with that, the pressure to perform well in the event on the team would be immense, so India would want to carry the positivity to the World Cup by winning the Asia Cup 2023.
