Royal Challengers Bengaluru was crowned as the new champions of the IPL title after defeating Punjab Kings in the final of the IPL 2025. RCB ended the trophy drought under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar at Ahmedabad, whereas Punjab Kings had hard luck for the 2nd time as they finished runner-ups. After the 2025 season ended, the winners and the runner-ups were rewarded with the purse of INR 20 crores and INR 13 crores, respectively.
