Who is to Blame for Bengaluru Stampede

One of the darkest days in cricket history is the stampede that occurred in Bengaluru on June 4, 2025, prior to the title win of Royal Challengers Bengaluru after 18 years.

The Karnatak State Cricket Association’s two senior officers resigned from their posts following the investigation into the event, but the investigation is still ongoing to identify the main individuals responsible for this horrific incident.

Who is to blame for the horrific death parade where 11 people died and 70+ people were hospitalized just because the government and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru wanted to celebrate their IPL first title victory as the Victory Parade in an open bus, which turned into a disaster as more than expected fans gathered.

“Lakhs of cricket fans are likely to come to Vidhana Soudha. Since there is a shortage of security personnel, making bandobast will be a problem,”

Gowda wrote to G Sathyavathi, Secretary, DPAR.

The RCB management ignored the letter and carried on the parade also the state governemnt allowed the management to go with the open bus victory parade which clearly tell that the fault was of both the Karantaka Government which is under the Congress as many said that the chief Ministry wanted fame for himself and ignored the situtations and even in many video he has been seen that he wants to be infront of camera.

The BJP party complained about Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. Earlier this year, the government arrested Allu Arjun for the stampede that happened in the hall in which one woman died, but now, after the senior government officials ignored the letter from the police, the BJP wants them to be arrested.

Many speculations also suggested that Virat Kohli wanted to return to his London house, and as a result, the RCB management disregarded the police warning.

Crowd management has been a major issue in India and around the world, but every fan and person needs to understand how to stay polite when in a huge crowd and not rush into another person.

Being a fan is great, but being a stupid fan is something everyone should avoid. The RCB and CSK fans are known for their overhyping and irrational support for the team and players, which has been evident many times.
