MLC, 2025, Match 7: TSK vs SO| Captains’ Corner
Never thought it would be 60 all-out. If you get through the powerplay, you stand a chance. Milne has been bowling well. Any fast bowler will take this wicket and put it in their kit bag. Noor is the best in the world. There are fantastic spinners like Narine. Noor has the ability to get wickets at any stage of the game. Just puts him at number 1. Just need to be scratchy on these sort of wickets.
Faf du Plessis(TSK captain) said post-match
Hard to explain, we bowled extremely well, happy with the score we restricted them to. Hard to explain what happened with the bat, had to play more straight I guess. We bowled extremely well, very proud of the bowlers. One that we’ll have to look deep into, really difficult to explain now. Start fresh, that’s the easiest way to do it, 8 games left, win 6 of those and you’ll still make it. We’ve got Hetmyer coming back, start clean and we’ve got an opportunity to turn it around.
